This year´s Open Day offered an expanded programme across all ten faculties of Masaryk University, as well as two workshops. A total of 3,500 prospective students registered.
Support for Ukraine, the situation in Slovakia, the risks associated with social media, questions about Russia and Belarus, the role of the traditional media, and questions about the new government – these were the topics that resonated during Czech President Petr Pavel’s meeting with MU students.
Turkish professor Burcu Özsoy, known for her expertise in polar research and remote sensing, was recently invited to Brno to participate in a Faculty of Science conference focused on leadership issues.
In mid-October, an MU delegation took part in a working trip across Brazil. Over the course of two weeks, they visited a number of universities, research centres, and secondary schools.
