Open Day 2025: Number of registrations increased by 9 percent
This year´s Open Day offered an expanded programme across all ten faculties of Masaryk University, as well as two workshops. A total of 3,500 prospective students registered.

Using chemistry to study Parkinson’s disease

The Dean of Masaryk University´s Faculty of Science for the next four years has been elected Luděk Bláha
In the second round of elections, Luděk Bláha, the current Vice Dean for Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Science, was elected as the candidate for Dean of the Faculty of Science. He received 18 out of 26 votes.

She wanted to study environment and health and focused on toxicology in her master´s programme. Hana Slámová enjoys working in laboratories and, as a lecturer at Bioscope, is involved in popularization and educational activities during summer schools and during the year.
