TACR - 3. Call Environment for Life 2 (PP3)
TA ČR announced on 17 December 2025 the third public competition in the Programme Environment for Life 2 Subprogram 3: Environmental and climate challenges in the long term.
Approval of proposals by the Council for Strategically Important Projects at MU
As these are long-term, strategically important projects and due to the limitation on the number of proposals per applicant (1 applicant = 1 topic), project proposals will be submitted to the RSVP for approval prior to submission.
Therefore, please inform Tereza Johnová from PSO PřF and Monika Dušková from OV RMU of your intention to submit a project as soon as possible.
Deadlines
- Opening date for receipt of applications: 18.12.2025
- Deadline for submission of project proposal in SISTA: 4.3.2026 by 16:29:59
- Internal deadline for budget review (uploaded in SISTA application): 16.2.2026. Add Ing. Tereza Johnová and Ing. Eva Žufanová as the administrators to the SISTA application.
- To the HR manager Ing. Eva Žufanová, send a list of the persons of the research team you plan to include in the project proposal. You will be sent the salary range you can plan for each staff member.
- When planning personnel costs, please follow the Methodology sheet for planning personnel costs.
- Once the budget has been reviewed and agreed, you will need to upload the draft proposal to the documents in ISEP and start the electronic approval of the Evidence sheet no later than 25.2.2026.
- In case of co-financing, please send Ing. Tereza Johnová a completed affidavit of co-financing form by 25.2.2026.
- Start of the project: January 2027
- Project duration: 72-84 months
- Project termination: December 2033 at the latest
- Publication of the competition results: by 30.10.2026
- Consultation:

- legal issues (Radim Kunc): until 18.2.2026
Basic parameters of the call
- the competition is open only for the sub-programme (PP3): Environmental and climate challenges in the long term for ten defined topics (Appendix No. 2)
- Limitation on the number of proposals submitted per ID number: One applicant (as the main applicant or co-applicant) may participate in a maximum of one project proposal in the selected research topic.
- Allocation for the competition 5.46 billion CZK
- the maximum rate of support per project is 90 % and the maximum amount of support per project according to topics
- research organizations are eligible for up to 100 % support
- the main applicant must be a research organization that is working on the project with at least two other entities (research organizations, companies, or other applicants permitted by the tender documentation)
Note on the new SISTA application:
- In order to avoid unnecessary delays in granting access to SISTA to researchers and administrators (especially for proposals where MU acts as a partner), it is necessary to register a project proposal in ISEP as soon as possible with the number assigned by SISTA.
- All persons named in SISTA must have a registered account in SISTA that will be linked to the organization. Do not leave these steps to the last minute.
